How to Drive Traffic to Work at Home Business Opportunities With Blogging
Blogging can effectively drive traffic to work at home business opportunities.
The key? Kill ‘em with content. Provide valuable posts. Leave a link to a squeeze page in your resource box. Set up an opt-in form. Use banner ads.
Let’s discuss the steps.
Write Helpful Articles
“How To” articles are the most popular posts on my blog.
My readers seek knowledge. “How To” posts provide them with knowledge. Think of what your audience wants to hear, not necessarily what you want to write about. The 2 ideas may be different.
If you want to write for yourself feel free to only consult yourself.
If you want to drive traffic to work at home business opportunities consider writing for your audience. They are the ones you are doing business with.
Leave A Link In Your Resource Box
After each post set up a resource box stating what you do and how you can help your reader.
The readers wants to know who writes the articles. They also want more assistance. If they like what you wrote maybe your squeeze page will get a visit. This only happens if the squeeze page link is provided with each post.
Make your resource box short and punchy. Think impact. Don’t ramble on. I made the mistake of writing iffy, wordy resource boxes in the past. No clicks. When I became focused the clicks came and opt-in’s increased.
Don’t forget to toss a freebie in with your link as an incentive to opt-in.
Set Up An Opt-In Form
An opt-in box records your reader’s name and email address. These forms are vital tools for list building.
List building creates a relationship with your subscribers. Sales are usually made once a relationship has been established with a prospect.
You can send period updates to your list, maintaining contact while sending value. When you have offered enough value feel free to include a call to action. If you don’t ask, how can you ever receive?
Use Banner Ads
Banner ads can be used in conjunction with opt-in boxes. They can also be used by themselves.
Keep a banner ad simple. We like bright shiny things until the luster turns us off.
Never clutter your site with junk. Keep the ads to a minimum. Guide the reader to one or 2 select opportunities. Don’t give them many options because they won’t be able to make up their mind. One or 2 options to click on, that’s it.
Follow the above steps to drive traffic to work at home opportunities with blogging in no time.
