A Closer Look at Melaleuca

Melaleuca Review

The question that we need to ask is how Melaleuca stand up to the patented Mike Fish “LITMUS” test?  For those of you who aren’t familiar with me, my name is Mike Fish and I am a veteran of the MLM industry. I put these companies to a logical analysis that I have been told has really helped a lot of folks in deciding if an MLM opportunity if right for them. For more in-depth information concerning my LITMUS TEST check out my website or articles. For our purposes in this article here is a short overview:

L stands for loss, the loss of members. How many members are leaving them and how fast?

I stands for income. What is the real income opportunity?

T stands for time; the amount of time you’re going to have spend to find people to join you.

M stands for mentoring. Are you going to get solid, significant, and practical ongoing mentorship on how to successfully work this business?

U stands for “you.” You must ask yourself; is this opportunity is right for me?

S stands for Selling. What exactly are you going to be selling?

L: This organization has a very good retention rate or MLM marketing. They have been around for over 20 years so they are certainly stable compared to a lot of the newer players out there. This has its positives and drawbacks. You will have a solid business if you are able to build it, but this MLM may not have the hype of a newer organization.

I: There is a good income potential with Melaleuca and the nice thing is that you don’t have to be a “top leader” to start to earn a few thousand dollars a month in it.

T: This has traditionally been marketed word of month. As with any MLM the vast majority of an individual reps time is spent trying find new potential people to join. I have to say, as an expert in internet marketing, if someone had the time to take this organization online and put together a solid campaign with some real SEO this would be a significant opportunity for that person.

M: There seems to be some solid training with this organization; however, like most MLMs you generally have to travel and pay money to get the best training possible. This is another area where I see some major potential if a new or current rep wanted to sell this online and train online using webinars or a TeamViewer program.

U: This is where I say that Melaleuca is either for you or it isn’t. This organization sells health products, cleaning products and a variety of other personal care products. For most of us there will be something really cool out of the 350 plus products they sell, but make sure this is an area you are passionate about before joining.

S: I pretty much covered this one under U this time. I think this is where Melaleuca really shines compared to most MLMs out there. With the right marketing strategy the ability to build a solid stable business with this organization is a definite in my opinion.

Melaleuca in a NUTSHELL: If you are looking for a truly “green” company with top notch health products, this is a company that you can likely trust. That does not necessarily mean that it is the MLM opportunity you have been looking for. This is one of the more solid MLM opportunities that I have reviewed in a long time; however, it does not come with a lot of hype. Building this business world of mouth would likely take a few years, but could be done. As I have mentioned, this is one that I would be excited about taking online with a good marketing campaign if I had the time to do it.
