Just be sure that your article content targets the interests of the niche traffic you are looking for.

A big key to making this work for you is to include your website address in the resource box at the end of the article. That way, if a reader of your article likes the information you provided they can easily be directed to your website for more information. Once they click on your site link, you now have a highly targeted visitor to your web pages, and you generated that visitor for free! Even better, if a publisher likes your material and begins placing your article in their online publication, you’ll have very large amounts of additional targeted traffic to your site as well.

Other traffic generation techniques for driving targeted traffic are search engine optimization, press release marketing, Squidoo marketing, classified ad posting, and search engine submission to name a few. If you are interested in exploring these topics you can either access the search engine databases, or use the search boxes located within the article directory sites to access articles written on these various topics. This should get you going along the right path. However, article marketing in conjunction with forum and blog posting are excellent ways to begin driving free, targeted traffic to your website immediately.
