People got their butts kicked on tonights company training call, it sure wasn’t one of those rah rah, You guys are doing great kind of calls. Basically the speaker of the training call achieved a moment in his organization where he can see who the leaders are and those individuals who are stagnant in their business.

This particular MLM training wasn’t about mlm lead generation but to strike a chord in the minds of those who enlisted in MLM for a change in their life, highlight possible problems that are causing the lack of growth and provide value so they can be successful.

Here are some of the points covered and I want to ask you if you’re having these issues as well. When I first started in this industry, I too went thru these difficult times.

Stop Rushing

Too many people want to reach for the stars in 30 to 90 days, quit their jobs and collect residual checks forever. Sure, some 10 year MLM veteran can ask most of his current team mates to move from one network marketing company to another, however this isn’t the norm in the industry.

Don’t make the mistake of comparing your efforts with that of a seasoned network marketing professional with a list of 10,000 fans. Your MLM lead generation options, your personal bribe, your leadership, your enlisting methods will be completely different from other networkers. You are the unique variable in this arena, you are one of a kind and you have the ability to achieve fantastic things. If your guru is advising to correct this or that regarding your business be sure to put into operation it because your guru undeniably sees much more that you don’t. This minor change may switch the path of your business completely.

If you find yourself in the position of not sponsoring anyone into your business ask yourself the questions listed below.

- Do I really believe that MLM is for me?- Did I completely exhaust my warm market list?- Am I building relationships on Facebook daily?- Am I shining as a leader?- What fears are holding me back from achieving success?

Fear

Has your MLM training made known to you how to uncover and overcome fear? Do any of the following pertain to you…

- Will somebody laugh at me?- Will my prospects questions put me in a position I don’t know how to answer?- I’m afraid of picking up the phone.- Will my friends judge me because I shared my MLM opportunity with them?

We can go on and on but let’s stop here and let me tell you what I believe.

My friend if someone laughs at you. So What!! You don’t have to be in MLM for anyone to laugh at you. Don’t focus your thoughts on negative emotions because you’re giving that person that laughed at you control of your circumstances and the positive change your making in your life. Anyone laughs at what your sharing, then fantastic, because they just crossed themselves off your list & saved you the trouble. It’s normal to have prospecting jitters when it’s a new forming habit and the only way to get over it is to keep practicing and having conversations with your leads. If your prospect starts asking you questions, turn the conversation around and tell them “We will cover your question soon but tell me, what did you like about the presentation?” That’s why you want to use a 3-way call option and take the worry off your shoulders.

If your afraid to pick up the phone and call your leads, either hire a virtual assistant to handle the calls for you assuming you have the budget for it. But if you don’t have the money, you really need to press on and get past this. Keep in mind people gave YOU their contact information because they are looking forward to hearing from you and need your help. You’re the HERO not the other way around.

True friends are a wonderful joy to have. But if your so called friends are so immature that they won’t speak to you because you introduced MLM to them, you may want to consider that relationship. These people were never your friends. True friends build up and encourage one another and if you don’t have this, start making new friends with your network marketing colleagues. You are who you surround yourself with so if you want to be a joyful, successful marketer start surrounding yourself with people who share the same thoughts.

Surround Yourself With Other Networkers

In any business, you’ll have your peaks and valleys, but never feel you’re alone in this. You can’t be your own island. Exchange ideas with other network marketers! The greatest site to do this is at live events where you carry on your MLM training education. Yes your going to live events to further your MLM education but truly it’s about connecting, sharing and building relationships. If your next event isn’t until a few months away, find a local networking group in your city. Try Meetup.com or Facebook and search for local networking or business groups that you can connect with.

Who knows what’s in store for you at the next live event, may put you in a point where you sign up a big cheese who has a huge social crowd of associates. Or you can really vibrate with someone at a live MLM event that you end up doing webinars or creating a joint venture. Expand your vision always.
