Superior Option compared to Google Pay-Per-Click for Network Marketing Lead Generation?

Superior Option compared to Google Pay-Per-Click for Network Marketing Lead Generation?

Well I got a call from a guy the other day who introduced himself as “Ulyses”. The guy wanted to know if I had ever heard of “leapfish.com”. I hadn’t.

Turns out that leapfish.com is a search engine. Not just any search engine. This is a search engine that kicks big-time tail!

I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this before.

Ulyses took me through a demonstration on the phone, with me at my computer and I was very impressed.

First, leapfish.com simultaneously searches MSN, Google, and Yahoo and displays results for all three in a very comfortable to look at, easy to follow display.

It puts three “news” results from MSN right at the top, just under the three paid links (these I supposed could be considered synonymous with Google’s pay-per-click ads, but they are not pay-per-click, more in a minute).

Then the list of results, with a convenient little toggle button just to the right of the list which allows you to instantly swap out all the Google results listings for the Yahoo listing, or the MSN, back and fourth instantly. This is pretty neat!

My favorite aspect of leapfish.com is the search results display for videos.

The videos come up as thumbnails, in the same way that they would pop up on Yahoo are Google but the cool part is that when you mouse your cursor over the thumbnail the thumbnail starts playing the video within about one second, or at least it did the day I was experimenting. So we can simply position the mouse over each one to see for a short bit whether there was any content I was interested in, and if not I could just slide on over to the next one with0ut having to click anything or waiting for a new page to open up or for it to load. I think this is awesome. Some may say that I’ve just gotten way to lazy. Maybe so but I work on the internet all day and I feel the need… the need for speed!

So, to the main point of this article: The folks at leapfish.com have decided not to offer pay-per-click advertising(this is according to Ulyses), but instead they just sell you a top-position link which is guaranteed to come up when someone searches for the specific key-words that you picked out. And apparently you own this position forever. So every time that someone in the world searches leapfish.com for your keywords, BOOM!, there is your link. Never dies. I think he said it was .00 per year to renew but we covered a lot of information.

So, this certainly eliminates the need to spend the time to figure out your pay-per-click budget each week or month or whathaveyou. You are stuck with those keywords however, forever. Holy cow. Just imagine if you bought something like “MLM leads”, or if you are in a large MLM orgainztion like Mona Vie or Amway or TVI Express. You could buy the keyword “Mona Vie”. Phew! I sure don’t know whether that one is still available but WOW, that would have some value huh?

I don’t recall what Ulyses said was the number of searches “MLM Leads” gets every month but it was unbelievable. Price he quoted me was about 00.00. Man, I know people who spend way more than that doing pay-per-click every single week!

Pay-per-click for MLM guys like me has become sort of an industry standard for lead generation. Most of the top earners in network marketing have a multi-thousand dollar per week pay-per click budget and it is a phenomenal way to generate network marketing leads.

As a marketer I would think that 00.00 for a permanent top position (they actually put three links at the very top and you are guaranteed to rotate within those three) would be a no-brainer for lead generation.

As a internet searcher I just think it’s cool and I like the engine better. (Sorry Google, sorry Yahoo…).

Pay-per-click Advertising for your Work From Home Business Opportunity

Pay-per-click Advertising for your Work From Home Business Opportunity

Effective Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising depends upon the products or services you have to offer and how well you promote your work from home business website. This type of advertising involves setting a pre-determined amount of money aside (or a spending limit account funded with a major credit card) with a PPC advertising company. Nothing new there, but where the big difference comes in the fact that you only pay when someone clicks on your advertisement, following the link you have established back to the predefined link on your work from home website. With some companies, you can set the amount you wish to spend (per day or per month), which is good for smaller home based business opportunity companies who most often have a limited advertising budget.

In order for PPC advertising to work, you must make sure that the websites chosen for use are visible enough for the advertising to be worthwhile. Doing this means choosing websites targeting people looking for the type of products and services that you are selling.

For example, if you sell women’s sportswear, it is not likely to be beneficial for you to advertise your PPC links on a site that sells car parts. On the other hand, it can be effective to post it on a site that sells music, fragrances, or even men’s wear since many people are looking for a quick way to find clothing for all members of the family.

You have to make sure you understand the advertising policies of the advertising company you choose. If you choose a company that allows you to set your own price for each click, it’s also possible that your ad will appear on more sites if you are willing to pay more for the service. You want to make sure that you have control over the types of sites where your advertisement will appear.

Likewise, you would not want to allow your ads to show on sites where people might just randomly click through to see what you have to offer, just for the sake of having traffic. Very quickly you will find that getting tons of traffic is not the issue with PPC advertising. Clearly, it is critical that you target those who are interested and ready to buy the exact product you are trying to sell.

Before you choose PPC advertising, talk to other people who have used it to get a feel for the right company to use. If you do not know anyone personally, simply visit any number of the more popular home business opportunity forums for advice and opinions. Do your own research as well, reading PPC websites and what they offer in return for placing your advertising.

Find out as much information as you can before you make a decision about using this type of advertising. Like other advertising you must keep in mind some varieties and types work better than others, and that PPC works better in some industries than others. Before you make a long-term commitment, you may want to try it and see how well it works for you and your work from home business. Before you know it, you will be an expert yourself!
