What is Zija  – “Martial Arts for 200 Bob!”

The other day, someone told me they just signed up for Zija, and I am thinking to myself, oh no, I better be nice to them, after all Zija is probably one of those ancient fighting martial arts and in one karate chop, I’d be a goner. You know, like Jiu Jitsu or something like that, it would be like “HI YAW!” and that would be it. Well, it turns out that Zija is nothing like that at all.

In fact, it isn’t even anything that will hurt you, rather they sell products that are meant to assist you in a healthier lifestyle. You know, just like eating healthy and exercising does. Turns out my acquaintance signed onto the Zija International home based business program, which is interesting, and so I went onto the Internet to learn more about what the heck my acquaintance signed up for, as it really piqued my curiosity.

Anyway, the company derives its products from the Moringa Tree, and again, I am thinking what’s that some Garden of Eden throw-back, some ancient tree of wisdom and logic, with a snake cruising through its branches? Well, turns out, as the story goes, yes and no. You see according to WikiPedia;

“Moringa leaves have the calcium equivalent of 4 glasses of milk, the vitamin C content of 7 oranges, potassium of 3 bananas, 3 times the iron of spinach, 4 times the amount of vitamin A in carrot, and 2 times the protein in milk. Moringa also helps to purify water, a cheaper alternative to mechanical filtration.”

Okay so, now I am interested. Pure water, vitamins, minerals, and protein, hmm? Or should I say “yum” as it turns out they’ve put together a drink mix made from these Moringa Leaves, which comes in a pixie sticks like powder. Cool, so I can add this to my Code Red Mountain Dew right? Well, I guess you can add it to whatever you want.

I told my acquaintance, you know those are some pretty hefty claims young lady, and you know what she told me; “Yah, and they are all true too!” So when you ask, what is Zija, remember it’s not a martial arts fighting strategy, it’s a company that makes high-protein, high vitamin, and mineral products to help you get the nutrition you need. Only one problem of course, neither you or I have tried it yet, and I guess there is only one way to verify the WikiPedia, research, and company claims. So, please consider all this.
